Ladies’ Bible Studies (begins in January, 2018)
Monday evenings, 6:45-8:30 pm – Uninvited, by Lysa TerKeurst, is a 6-week study that aims to dive deep into God’s Word and help you explore the roots of rejection, overcome the damage past hurts can inflict on your relationships today, and fully grasp what it looks like to live loved. The video series, with biblical depth and gut-honest vulnerability, will take us on a visual journey through the Holy Land to explore and experience scripture as each teaching will be presented from a unique location. Cost: $8. No child care. (begins Jan. 15)
Wednesday mornings, 9:30-11:30 am – The Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. Cost: $13. Child care provided. (begins Jan. 10)
Men’s Bible Study
Saturday mornings thru Jan. 27, 8:30-10 am – Book of Ecclesiates. Ecclesiastes reflects Solomon looking back on a life that was long on experience but short on lasting rewards. As king, he had the opportunity and resources to pursue the rewards of wisdom, pleasure, and work in and of themselves. Yet the world-weary tone of the writing suggests that late in life, he looked back on his folly with regret, pointing us to a better, simpler life lived in light of God’s direction.
